Reading Room – Drawing Room – Making Room, Floating World at Crescent Art Centre, Belfast June 2013

For one week only Floating World re-created the 2009 Exhibition ‘Reading Room’. This time we added two more rooms, a drawing room and a making room. The drawing room featured a range of new drawings by Floating World Artists. In the making room we  provided materials and tools for visitors to make their own books. We will also be giving away two new d.i.y. artists books specially made for the show. In the illustration ‘Free artwork” you can see an A1 print based made form a sculpture (see below) which could be used as paper to make a book from.
