Glynis Candler

Glynis Candler works with photography but does not consider herself an artist in the generally accepted use of the term.

Collaborating with other artists on the technicalities of book production, she uses her sharp eye and poetic sensibilities to produce lyrical book works that comment on the profound in unexpected ways. She has a particular interest in objects for which time and usefulness have passed and and how the history of these objects quickly fades from individual and collective consciousness.

Her works are in the many private collections, her latest book 'Life Goes On' is in the artists book collection of Tate Britain.
